Dance party, hot chocolate or board game time. Let the students decide.

Make sure you plan some downtime. Many do this at the end of a semester. Ask the students what they want to do and enjoy each other. Do they want to bring in board games? A Just Dance party? Sit around and enjoy a hot chocolate together and make a marshmallow structure or create art with found items? Take some time for all of you — including yourself.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Student leaders should be on the lookout for those on the periphery. It’s important to include all.
  2. Have students get out the games, hot chocolate. If you opt for the marshmallow or found items structure, you could have a contest.
  3. The goal here is just to have fun with each other.
