Judges named 25 school newspapers and news magazines from 10 states as George H. Gallup Award recipients in the 2014 Quill and Scroll International Honor Society News Media Evaluation Service.

Named for the founder of Quill and Scroll and the Gallup Poll, the award is given only to those publications that have achieved and sustained excellence.

Gallup Award recognition is based on extraordinary journalistic accomplishment, exceptional service to the school and community, coverage, writing and reporting.

International First Place Award recognition went to 25 schools. The International Second Place Award was awarded to 24 schools. The International Honor Award went to 3 schools.
