Named for the founder of Quill and Scroll and the Gallup Poll, the award is given only to those publications that have achieved and sustained excellence.
Gallup Award recognition is based on extraordinary journalistic accomplishment, exceptional service to the school and community, coverage, writing and reporting.
International First Place Award recognition went to 29 schools. The International Second Place Award was awarded to 18 schools. The International Honor Award went to 3 schools.
